Sariga Premanand is an AI ethicist, educator, keynote speaker, and Founder of SARTECH LABS (Safe and Responsible Technologies Labs)-an initiative dedicated to enabling safe, practical, and responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence across individuals and organizations.
Sariga is passionate about democratizing AI education, especially through regional language learning (Malayalam), making advanced AI concepts accessible to students, professionals, and entrepreneurs from all backgrounds. She has trained educators, corporate teams, startups, and communities, across Euope, USA, Middle East and India, helping them understand and practically apply AI in their daily work and decision-making.
She is the Munich City Lead for Women in AI, where she actively builds and leads a global community of AI professionals, and hosts speaker sessions, workshops, and learning initiatives. She also contributes to AI sustainability and policy discussions, working alongside global stakeholders and initiatives aligned with organizations such as the World Bank, with a focus on responsible, ethical and inclusive AI adoption.
With a technical foundation from Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering, combined with a Master's degree in Politics and Technology from the Technical University of Munich, Germany she specialize in the intersection of emerging technologies, particularly AI, and their political, social, economic, and ethical implications.
Her mission is to leverage AI to drive social justice and inclusion, blending cutting-edge technology, innovation, and policy to create meaningful impact.
